The Congers Veterans Memorial Association held a wreath-laying ceremony Sunday to commemorate Veterans Day.
Annually, the association lays wreaths on site at 65 Lake Rd. in Congers. The Congers VMA provides support for veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces by connecting veterans with several government agencies and nonprofit organizations.
Veterans Day recognizes the end of World War I - ending over 100 years ago on Nov. 11, 1918.
