There was a major show of generosity for one of Westchester's oldest farms and its animals, which were facing an uncertain future due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The owner of the Sky Blue Equestrian Center in Cortland was featured in a Turn To Tara story earlier this week, and appealed to the public to donate to its GoFundMe campaign.
Stephanie King told News 12 that without the donations, her popular therapy riding program for at-risk youth and adults was in danger of closing.
After the story aired on News 12, people across Westchester came to the rescue, donating just under $10,000 enough for the farm to stay open.
