Friends and family gathered Sunday to remember a young woman killed after her car tumbled off a hill in Stony Point Saturday.
Police say the Toyota Corolla driven by Brianna Rodriguez hit a telephone pole just after 4:30 a.m. Saturday before tumbling off an embankment.
Friends say Rodriquez, who lived in West Haverstraw, was well-liked in the community. Softball teammates also remembered her by saying she was one of the most upbeat people on the team.
Police say the crash is still under investigation.
