? A former member of Bronx Community Board 4 feels a vote against the new Yankee Stadium led to a backlash against members.

The man says he let his membership expire in March after feeling the affects of his and other members? vote. He says they voted against the new stadium and thought Borough President Adolfo Carrion Jr. would have to go back to the drawing board. However, Carrion considered the board?s vote as an advisory decision, not the final word. The former member believes Carrion decided not to re-appoint members because of their decision.

Carrion released a statement saying he and other elected officials appoint new board members as needed.
