The Hudson Valley will start seeing snow showers late Sunday evening into Monday. It starts as scattered snow showers then transitions to snow/icing north of 84, freezing rain along 84 and rain to the south. This will progress throughout the overnight and into the morning commute and rush hour.

The combination of cold/freezing ground over the past few days will further impact travel when combined with the freezing elements. The further south in the Hudson Valley, the more likely you are to see more rain.

A winter weather advisory is in place until 11 a.m.

OVERNIGHT: Low of 35 degrees with rain, snow, sleet, and freezing rain possible. Winter weather advisory covers much of the region through 11 a.m. Monday.
