Another cold one today. Although the winds weren't as fierce, so it was a tad more tolerable as we worked through Wednesday. For the next several mornings, temperatures will continue to trend colder than the previous morning.
As we head into the weekend, there is a legitimate chance for snow driven by a coastal storm currently developing and tracking up the East Coast. While the exact path relative to the Hudson Valley remains a bit of a moving target, recent model trends suggest the region will see a "glancing blow" starting Saturday night and lasting into Sunday.
This trajectory would likely bring a few inches of accumulation to areas near the Long Island Sound, whereas regions closer to the Catskills may only see light snow showers. Regardless of the final snow totals, you should prepare for notably breezy conditions across the area on Sunday.
