It was a close call for a News 12 crew on Friday afternoon while they were covering the impacts of Tropical Depression Debby in Rockland County.

A branch fell on top of a News 12 car near the crew on Route 9W between Christian Herald Road and Lake Road in Valley Cottage.

Those streets were still closed as of Friday night as crews worked to clean up debris near power lines.
