A boat party for Clarkstown South students is now postponed to the spring or summer, according to boating company Enjoy Homecoming.
The students were supposed to go on the boating trip Saturday, but there were COVID-19 concerns.
As News 12 had reported, Clarkstown South High School officials had warned students that they would be required to quarantine if they attended the unsanctioned boat party.
A letter sent out from the principal said that the students would have been required to quarantine for 14 days before heading back to school.
Schools throughout the Hudson Valley, such as Pleasantville Middle School and Port Jervis High School, have already seen positive cases pop up among students.
