There's a $6,000 art installation in Fordham, but you may not have noticed it.
That's because city vehicles are blocking the sculpture from public view, according to the head of the Fordham Business Improvement District.
Director Daniel Bernstein complains that the vehicles create chaos, and distract or intimidate passersby from taking notice of the artwork.
News 12 even caught a Parks Department truck and an MTA vehicle pulling up just feet away from the statue. The MTA claims it has to park there for easy access to Fordham's train station.
Bernstein has tried reaching out to city agencies about the issue, but says nothing has been done to remedy it.
In the meantime, anyone interested in seeing the statue for themselves has until March to stop by Fordham Road and Webster Avenue.
