A memorial has been set up at the site of a fatal crash that followed an alleged drag race.
Police say Chris Seguinot, 21, and three other drivers were spotted just after midnight Wednesday speeding on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Hastings. Seguinot was allegedly racing one car, while the other two drove behind them, slowing down traffic to keep the road clear.
Seguinot then sped off an exit ramp in Dobbs Ferry, crashing over the side of a bridge and plunging more than 25 feet to the parkway below.
The second driver in the alleged drag race has been identified because he later returned to the scene. Police say charges could be filed because drag racing is a low-level misdemeanor.
A wake for Seguinot will be held Saturday and Sunday. His funeral will be Monday morning in White Plains.
