Chris Moss, the Republican candidate for lieutenant governor, made some disparaging remarks about Gov. Andrew Cuomo Wednesday in Orange County.
"Gov. Cuomo is a bully," he says. "It's that simple. Am I surprised he pulled subpoenas when the investigation got too close to him? Absolutely not. I've had a chance to meet Gov. Cuomo personally. I've been in law enforcement for 25 years. I know a bully when I see one."
Moss is running on the GOP ticket with gubernatorial candidate Rob Astorino.
He says the governor is committing crimes and failing to comply with his own ethics platform.
Cuomo is accused of interfering with the now-disbanded Moreland Commission. The governor says his administration did nothing more than advise the commission.
