News 12 Storm Watch Meteorologist Sam Augeri says a beautiful week is ahead with sunshine and warming temperatures.
Wednesday will be one of the cooler days of the week before temperatures rise to near 80 degrees by Friday.
A big stretch of dry weather is in the forecast, but we'll be keeping an eye on the East Coast next week to see if any rain can work its way toward Long Island.
OVERNIGHT: Partly cloudy and nice with lows near 79 degrees. North wind 5 mph. Sunrise: 6:30 a.m.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and pleasant. Highs near 75 degrees. Lows near 58 degrees.
THURSDAY: Nice and sunny. Warmer with highs near 77 degrees. Lows near 60 degrees.
FRIDAY: Sunny and warm. Highs near 80 degrees. Lows near 63 degrees.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny. Nice and warm with highs near 80 degrees. Lows near 63 degrees.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny and nice with highs near 79 degrees. Lows near 62 degrees.
MONDAY: Sun and clouds. Dry weather continues with highs near 77 degrees. Lows near 62 degrees.
