High school students at Chester Academy want President Barack Obama to throw out the first pitch at an important baseball game. The students are using Twitter to get the attention of the president.

High school students at Chester Academy want President Barack Obama to throw out the first pitch at an important baseball game.
The students are using Twitter to get the attention of the president.
Mike Doucette, the sports and entertainment marketing teacher at Chester Academy, is spearheading the campaign. He also coaches the varsity baseball team.
The students have been tweeting using the hashtag #ObamaFirstPitch.
Chester Academy is playing Cornwall High School on Thursday at a game at the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. The president will also be in town to promote tourism and job creation.
The team also has a baseball cap and shirt that it wants to give to the president.
So far, there has been no reply from the White House.
