An Orange County Jewish community group is getting creative this year to safely celebrate Hanukkah.
On Sunday, it is holding a drive-in menorah lighting ceremony for families in honor of essential workers.
Organizers say the meaning of Hanukkah is alive more than ever this year during the pandemic.
“The story may have happened in the past, but it speaks to the present. The menorah talks about overcoming challenge. Every year is a different challenge. This year is a tough one, and it affects everyone. But the message of the menorah is we are going to find ways to shine," says Rabbi Pesach Burston, of the Chabad of Orange County.
