Central Park Avenue in Greenburgh reopened to traffic Thursday night after a gas main break forced parts of the roadway to completely shut down in both directions.
Town of Greenburgh police warned drivers to find alternate routes during the incident.
Central Park Avenue was closed from Underhill Road to near the area of the Candlelight Restaurant.
It was not immediately clear as of Thursday night what caused the break.
