A pandemic staple will soon be a thing of the past. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says it is no longer distributing COVID-19 vaccine cards.

People are no longer required to show their card when coming from outside the country.

However, officials say travelers should still check in with their destination before leaving the United States.

Residents can still get a copy of their full vaccine record from their respective state health department.
