A man was caught on camera groping a woman in Fort Greene.

It happened inside the DeKalb Deli around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 16.

Police say the suspect went up to the 29-year-old woman and started talking to her. When she rejected his advances, officers say he groped her.

She was unable to get him to stop.

Police tell News 12 the suspect was relentless, even continuing to grope her while she was on the phone with 911.

A deli employee told News 12 the man appeared to be either drunk or under the influence of drugs.

The suspect is believed to be in his early 30s, about 6 feet 1 inch tall and around 160 to 170 pounds.

At the time of the groping, police say he was wearing a black baseball cap, a black jacket, gray sweatpants and black sneakers.

Investigators say he was last seen running southbound on Ashland Place.
