Democrat Tony Castro says he's decided to re-enter the race for Westchester district attorney despite being nominated for a judgeship by Republicans.
Castro tells News 12 he's decided to not accept the nomination, instead opting to stay in the race for Westchester district attorney on the Independence and Working Families party lines.
Castro will face Republican Dan Schorr and incumbent District Attorney Janet DiFiore in the general election. DiFiore beat Castro in the Sept. 15 Democratic primary.
