Day 2 of the US
Women's Amateur Championship was held at Westchester Country Club Tuesday.
Carmel native Lauren Peter found herself just outside the cut line at the end
of Monday’s round, but she turned it
during the morning round on Tuesday.
The Ohio State University junior went -3 on the day, including bogey-free golf on the back nine to advance
to match play Wednesday.
News 12 asked her if she will change any of her game plan going from stroke
play to match play. “I will kind of have the same
mindset. Just have fun out there and see what the course gets me. No
different than stroke play honestly. Match play is kind of just play your
own game, not worry about what your other competitors doing,” says
Peter.
