Cardinal Timothy Dolan was at St. Casimir's Church in Yonkers to bless Easter baskets filled with food for Holy Saturday.
The food blessings are part of a Polish tradition. Cardinal Dolan has been blessing food baskets for more than a decade, since he was the archbishop of Milwaukee.
Parishioners at St. Casimir's called the event a unique tradition.
It was the second consecutive year that Cardinal Dolan visited the church.
