A car jumped a curb and crashed through the window of an art gallery in Piermont on Sunday.
An artist was displaying his work in a gallery on Ash Street when he says the car narrowly missed a bicyclist outside, and several people inside.
None of his art was damaged, as the car came to rest just inches away.
Witnesses say the driver was an 85-year-old woman who was a featured artist at the gallery. She was trying to park when the crash happened.
According to witnesses, the driver was very shaken afterward. She was hospitalized, but there is no word on her condition.
A neighbor upstairs in the building described hearing a boom and feeling a jolt that "felt like an earthquake."
