The lights may be back on at the Calcagno Homes complex in Yonkers, but tenants say the problem is far from being solved.
The complex, located 80 School St., lost power suddenly and mysteriously on Sunday.
On Tuesday, the city installed an electrical generator, but some tenants say the temporary fix hasn't fixed the problem at all.
"The light is coming back off, then it's coming back on, and we need the light because the food is going bad, and we just don't know what to do," says tenant April Jeffers. "They say they're fixing it, and we're not completely sure yet."
There is no official word from the Municipal Housing Authority regarding how long the electrical repairs will take.
