Emma San Martin is a mechanical engineering major at West Point and is one of 41 people to receive the prestigious Marshall Scholarship to continue her studies after graduation in May.
The school's dean of the Academic Board says these recipients represent the best qualities of the U.S. Military Academy.
West Point officials say the school is first in the nation for Class of 2022 Marshall Scholarship recipients.
