Bronx residents enjoyed tasty treats Sunday on National Ice Cream Day.
In 1984, former President Ronald Regan designated the annual celebration as the third Sunday of July.
"Ice cream is a fun and nutritious food that 90 percent of the world enjoys," he remarked at the time.
Residents in the borough enjoyed their favorite flavors at Lickety Split in City Island.
