Bronx childcare givers rallied Tuesday for more funding so they can provide better services.

Family care providers say rising business costs and strict regulations are making it hard to provide quality child care. According to workers, they can?t afford to have administrative costs, such as inspections, taken out of their paychecks.

Childcare workers are asking for approximately $30 million in next year?s budget to better care for children. Currently, workers say more than $4,000 in administrative fees is needed to care for five children.
