Some Rockland County businesses are making sure that a fetus found in a sewage plant last week receives a proper burial.
The Scarr Funeral Home in Suffern is donating a casket for the fetus, and Airmont Cemetery is offering a final resting place.
The male fetus was found floating in sewage at the treatment plant in Suffern on Friday. Officials say it was a 15- to 19-week-old fetus that was discarded after a miscarriage.
Police are still searching for the mother.
