Business is booming at a Yorktown Heights orchard as the apple-picking season in the Hudson Valley is officially in full swing.
The Wilkens Fruit and Fir farm is one of dozens of places to pick apples across the Hudson Valley, drawing locals and city dwellers to partake in the fall favorite activity.
The orchard sells apple pies as well as its popular apple cider doughnuts. Machines have been pumping out the addicting sugary doughnuts since 1967.
