President George Bush made his agenda known when he spoke to the West Point Military Academy?s class of 2006 Saturday.
The class, which is the first to enter the academy after the terror attacks on September 11, 2001, listened as the president talked tough on terrorism. He told the 861 cadets that the war started on his watch but will end on their watch. Many were inspired by Bush?s words. One cadet said the speech reinforced the desire to serve as an officer.
And while the class of 2006 enjoyed the exciting day, hundreds were protesting Bush?s visit outside the academy's gates. To see more on the protest click here.
