A busy road in Rockland County had to be closed Tuesday after a bus slammed into a utility pole.
Police say that a Transport of Rockland bus hit a patch of ice and lost control on Main Street in Garnerville around 6:30 a.m.
The bus driver and three passengers were not injured.
Two circuits were damaged due to the crash and led to 2,000 customers losing power, according to an Orange and Rockland Utilities spokesman.
