The Bronx River Parkway has reopened after being shut down for hours due to flooding from heavy rain overnight.
The location of the closing in White Plains was no surprise as drivers say it is always one of the first roadways to do so.
Even though the parkway is reopened, DPW crews are warning that the rain and wind brought down a lot of leaves, which has caused wet and very slippery conditions across the Hudson Valley.
The good news is that News 12 Meteorologist Brysen Van Eck says the warm and breezy weather should combine with sunny skies to help dry out the region this afternoon.
