A tractor-trailer slammed into an overpass this morning on the Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers.
Officials say the accident happened just before 5 a.m. when the truck driver mistakenly got onto the parkway.
Only one lane of traffic was open southbound at exit 11E, backing up traffic for the entire morning commute.
Crews had to unload the truck of dozens of boxes of frozen chicken prior to removing the vehicle from the roadway.
No injuries were reported. The driver was issued several tickets.
