Some Bronx women and children were treated to a nice surprise as part of Giving Tuesday.
As part of Giving Tuesday, people are asked to give back to the community through volunteering or donating to charity.
Thirty-One Gives, an organization from Ohio, traveled all the way to the Bronx with gifts for the women and children in need at the Kip's Bay Boys and Girls Club in Castle Hill. They donated 310 bags full of toiletries, 600 bags full of food and 50 goody bags for the kids. Aside from that, they also brought cookies and treats.
This is the first time that Thirty-One Gives has visited the Bronx.
