Some local residents are up in arms over the proposed construction of a 2-family house in Throgs Neck.
Residents say that the construction site, a small lot, is just not big enough and there is no room for another home on their block. They have enlisted the help of City Councilman Jimmy Vacca.
Vacca says that as the population of the Bronx keeps growing, more developers are building houses in the wrong zones. He says his office will continue to monitor large-scale home construction.
