Dozens of aspiring Bronx writers have made big steps toward their dreams.
The Bronx Council on the Arts helped publish the Bronx Memoir Project, a collection of short, autobiographical written works that depict personal experiences.
The authors all participated in a workshop taught by the council's writers center.
Organizers say the memoir provides exposure to people who normally don't get published or receive any publicity.
