A Bronx resident is safe and sound at home after being rescued Wednesday from a dangling window washing scaffold at 1 World Trade Center.
Bronx resident Juan Lopez and Juan Lizama were rescued after dangling from the 69th floor of 1 World Trade Center.
Lopez' older sister says he is doing well and with family. She says their mother was hysterically crying as she watched the incident unfold on television.
The 33-year-old came to the Bronx from Peru 32 years ago and lives with his wife and four children. Neighbors and his sister told News 12 that Lopez is a hardworking man.
Lopez took the day off from work today. His sister says she's not surprised if he goes back to work tomorrow because he loves what he does.
The two window washers will speak to the media for the first time on Friday.
