A Bronx man will spend nearly 20 years behind bars for a burglary in Bronxville.
Police say Carmelo Rivera, 48, stole two guns and jewelry from an apartment on Kensington Road in 2014.
He was busted after police matched his DNA to blood found at the scene. The apartment had been entered via a ground-floor bedroom window.
Rivera was found guilty by a jury of first-degree burglary and was sentenced to 18 years in state prison with five years post-release supervision.
