A Bronx man was indicted, accused of attacking his ex-girlfriend and then slashing two bystanders who came to her aid.
The Bronx District Attorney says that 28-year-old Jon Arce attacked his ex-girlfriend multiple times.
Prosecutors say on April 11, they got into a verbal dispute that turned physical, sending her to the hospital.
Then on June 23, prosecutors say he approached her on Webster Avenue and punched her, threw her to the sidewalk and kicked her in the head.
When two good Samaritans tried to intervene, he allegedly slashed them with a sharp object.
He faces multiple felony charges, including assault and aggravated harassment.
Arce is expected back in court Oct. 28.
