As Kicks Week continues, one Bronx content creator says sneakers helped put her on the map.
Ashley Hall says she built her brand on fashion, beauty and sneakers.
Hall grew up in the Bronx where see says sneakers are a part of the culture.
"I always describe it is like sneakers for us, especially in the Bronx, is like breathing air. Like it's second nature to us." said Hall.
She says as a kid she would wear brands like Nike and Jordan, and now has worked with them - calling it "insane."
Hall now has over 67,000 followers on Instagram, and as her social media platform grew, so did her shoe collection.
She says she owns about 200 pairs of sneakers - dedicating a whole room to shoes in her home.
Hall says she hopes her success inspires others in the borough.
"I think that the Bronx has some of the best creatives, a lot of creative people that I know come from the Bronx. So, I think, or I hope that they'll look at me and be like, 'Oh, that's something I can do...she makes it look easy,'" said Hall.
