The annual Bronx Week celebration is returning to the borough this May, and Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson says residents will have new and exciting ways to take part in the fun.
Bronx Week will run from May 6 to May 19, but this year’s People’s Choice Awards will focus on health care workers in the borough making a difference.
The Bronx Borough President’s Office is asking the people of the Bronx to submit recommendations for who should be inducted into the Bronx Walk of Fame.
"Someone who is a Bronx native, who has a continuity of service, of professionalism in healthcare… we want to make sure that we recognize that,” said Gibson. “The People's Choice Award is just that, it's the people of the Bronx that are choosing who they want to see inducted in the 2024 Walk of Fame."
