Seniors living in an apartment complex in Yonkers are in panic mode after elevators they rely on have been broken for nearly a week.
Residents at the Trinity Senior Apartments on 450 Walnut St. in Yonkers say the broken elevators have been an inconvenience for everyone in the four-story building.
Rebecca Watts, 71, says she has not been able to leave her third-floor apartment out of fear she may risk hurting herself while walking up and down the stairs.
"I have medicine to pick up at CVS since Monday, I can't get my medications," says Watts.
The super of the 40-apartment building says the elevators have been down since Monday and should be repaired by Friday.
