A Bridgeport man died in a Jet Ski crash Wednesday on the Housatonic River in Stratford, Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection officials say.
DEEP environmental conservation police responded to a reported personal watercraft accident near the Sikorsky facility on Main Street just after 10 p.m.
Officers found the overturned Jet Ski near the west bank of the river. Carlos Cruz Gonzalez was found nearby and pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials did not provide information on what led to the crash.
The incident is under investigation by DEEP Environmental Conservation Police.
