A Bridgeport family is grieving the death of their loved one killed in a car crash earlier this week.
The family of Jazy White is also upset because because a video of her dying is still on social media.
On Wednesday, 33-year-old White, was driving on Ella T. Grasso Boulevard in New Haven when she was T-boned by another vehicle.
White leaves behind two teenage children and was an assistant manager at a Dunkin' in Hamden.
White's sister, Alexus Howard, 26, says White was a hard-working and devoted mother.
"I'm sorry that I didn't get to say anything to her, I'm sorry that I couldn't protect her, I am sorry that I wasn't there to be there for whatever she needed," she said.
Howard tells News 12 Connecticut her family is horrified by a graphic video circulating on social media that shows White dying inside the vehicle.
The video is believed to have been taken by a witness who approached the vehicle before first responders arrived at the scene.
"I don't appreciate it, our family doesn't appreciate it," she said. "It is very much an invasion of our privacy, it's very devastating to see my sister laying there deceased like that."
Howard says the last few years have been filled with heartbreak. After losing her mother and 7-month-old daughter, this latest tragedy has made life even more painful.
"We miss her. We're going to continue to miss her. We pray we get justice for what happened to her,” she said.
White's family has reached out to law enforcement to help get the video removed from social media.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, according to police.
A GoFundMe was set up to help with funeral expenses.
