Bridge repair has caused a lane closure on Boston Post Road.

The New York Department of Transportation has announced the initiation the closure on U.S. Route 1, also known as Boston Post Road, affecting southbound traffic between Hillside Avenue in Port Chester and the Connecticut border.

This closure, necessary for bridge repairs, will be in effect from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily until Friday.

Drivers are advised to observe caution and reduced speed in work zones, with doubled fines applicable.
