Bridge connecting Yonkers and Mount Vernon closes for repairs

The busy Broad Street Bridge connecting Yonkers and Mount Vernon is now closed down for repairs. Traffic is shut down for drivers in both directions at the intersection of Midland and Bronx River Road

The busy Broad Street Bridge connecting Yonkers and Mount Vernon is now closed down for repairs.
Traffic is shut down for drivers in both directions at the intersection of Midland and Bronx River Road and Locust Street. The bridge will remain open to pedestrians.
The bridge runs over the Bronx River, the Bronx River Parkway and the Metro-North railroad tracks.
Repairs are expected to last until Aug. 29.
