Briarcliff High School's artists showed off their creations for the first time since 2019 Thursday night at an art salon.
The exhibit was not just about celebrating all that the artists achieved, but about their futures as well.
The Briarcliff High School art department brought its art students to Sleepy Hollow Country Club to display their work.
For some students, it was the first time they had the opportunity to display their art.
Advanced placement students put together a 15-piece portfolio.
Briarcliff High School has been a window to the art world for some of the students as young artists are not often recognized like their peers in academia and sports.
There were scholarships in honor of Rhoda Holtzer, a Westchester artist who raised her family in Briarcliff and loved to teach art.
One scholarship recipient, Kate Kaplan, said it will help pay for architecture school.
Renowned painter Vincent Desiderio was a guest speaker at the event.
