The Brewster Fire Department has introduced a new EMS program, Brewster-Southeast EMS Inc., following an announcement made over the weekend via Facebook.

The newly established service, operating as a nonprofit, emerged in response to the cessation of 24-hour basic life support ambulance provision by medical provider 'AMBULNZ' to the district.

Brewster Fire Department, acknowledged as the busiest ambulance service in Putnam County with over 2,000 calls to date, initiated this program to ensure uninterrupted quality care for residents without relying on a third-party ambulance service.
