Breaks of sun before afternoon showers for the Hudson Valley Friday

News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Addison Green says there will be breaks of sun early Friday before afternoon showers arrive across the Hudson Valley.
WHAT'S NOW: Expect a fair night with the air not feeling as chilly as it has the past several nights.A thick layer on the bed probably won’t be needed.
WHAT'S NEW: A system moves up from the Southern Plains, bringing rain showers from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the bulk arriving during the afternoon rush. Scattered showers and a few downpours are expected, but that’s about it. Rain fall amounts will be up to a quarter of an inch.
WHAT'S NEXT: Saturday will be fairly dry with mild temperatures. Another system moves in early Sunday and brings rain showers through much of the day. Rain totals will be around half an inch or so. Showers should be done before Monday’s morning rush.
