As the National Guard deployed food and supplies to the coronavirus containment zone in New Rochelle Thursday, Mayor Noam Bramson said the community has been resilient.
“I’m very proud of the way our community has risen to the occasion,” Bramson said. “I think everyone is demonstrating a level of focus and concern that is proportionate to the challenge, but it’s not straight over into panic or hysteria or fear.”
Bramson also praised residents for listening to guidance of health professionals and is confident they’ll make it out of the situation.
