? Police in Yonkers are searching for thieves who stripped thousands of dollars in undergarments from a Victoria?s Secret store at the Cross County Shopping Center last week.
Officials say the thieves stole 400 top of the line panties Friday, with a sticker price of nearly $4,000.
Police say the store security camera recorded a man and woman shoving the high-end panties into a shopping bag from a display.
Police believe the bandits will sell the panties on the black market.
This is not the first time a Victoria?s Secret has been robbed in the area. Police say two stores in White Plains were struck over a dozen times in 2008 and $11,000 worth of bras was reportedly stolen.
In a statement to News 12 Westchester the owner of Victoria?s Secret, Limited Brands, says the company is working aggressively with local police to get to the bottom of what happened.
