It's once again time for the Hudson Valley to get its country on.

The NashSkill Music Festival returns Saturday to The Factoria in Peekskill, featuring four local bands and former American Idol contestant Wyatt Pike. Last year's crowd was lit up by the Alex Cano Band.

Organizers say the event reflects the region's growing country music fan base.

Doors open at noon at River Outpost Brewing, with music starting at 2 p.m. Parking is $10 , but general admission is free. A free shuttle runs every half hour from the Peekskill train station.
